Gods Word is our anchor
To keep us on firm ground
We shall never be persuaded
Nor ever be pulled down

No matter what the others
May say or do to us
God's Word will always stand
When we have had enough

For even if at times we should
Give up for any reason
God's Word remains faithful
Through life’s different seasons

For God's Word doesn't depend
On how we all are feeling
But shall always remain the same
Its fruit forever yielding

God's Word remains forever
No one can put it out
When we receive it in our hearts
It washes away all doubt

God's Word is the truth
The world is desperate of
To know life's deepest meaning
To know the one true God

For only by God's Word
Can we know the truth of life
As God reveals the mystery.
Of His son Jesus Christ
