As we, the children of God
Watch the old year pass away,
We think of the many blessings
That God has sent our way.

Happiness, joy, trials, and grief
Each one has had their share.
But in this time, not once so much
Through faith we could not bare!

We know the years we have left
May only be a few,
So, live each one for Jesus;
Trust in Him to carry through.

In fellowship and love we meet
To renew our strength within,
To pray for a deeper faith,
As a New Year we begin.
