Shining in the distance

A light is glowing bright.

Never think you are alone

while sitting there at night.

Cause God, He sends His love

in many little ways.

Even through a firefly

His love is there ablaze.

Firefly, firefly

go land on those I love.

Surround them with your shining light

and the Love I'm speaking of.

Sometimes we may not know it

when we are in despair.

Just how much the Lord loves us

His Love is always there.

If we could see inside

peep in the Spirit-Realm.

We would be astonished

of all that comes from Him.

Sometimes we take for granted

the little things we see.

But there's always a purpose

in what is meant to be.

Everything God made

with "Love" it was created

Predetermination

just like His Word has stated. 

It could be a firefly

or a whisper in the wind.

that comes around to show us

His Love again and again.

Or perhaps a raindrop

or a falling flake of snow.

A tiny little ladybug

or the dew upon a rose.

So never ever wonder

that God is not around.

There's no where on this earth

where His Love can't be found.

For just around the corner

or past the shadowed wall.

There is a light that's shining

for you, for me, for all.

Firefly, firefly

go flicker in the night.

Let your luminary presence

continue to bring light.

And may your smallest purpose

forever be fullfilled.

That we may know that God is Love
