HONOR
What do we do with a Soldier,
After the Battles are all done?
They were trained to do a job,
And we prayed the War would be won.
What do we do with the Sailor,
Who has spent his life at Sea?
Have we thanked him for the sacrifices,
To country, to friends, and his family?
What do we do with Airmen,
When Warbirds no longer fly?
Do we stand proudly with them?
Can we look them in the eye?
What do we do with Marines,
Standing Proud in foreign lands?
Representing the best of America,
Before enemies, neutrals, and friends.
What do we do with Veterans,
When their time on Earth is done?
Have we honored them for their service?
Or do these heroes die unsung?
What do we do with Patriots,
These Proud people who answered the call?
Each generation makes its payment,
All give some, and some will give all.
