Some days are easier than others
As I’ve walked in the shadows…
Of my self doubt and inner pain
Seeking some comfort and relief
I called my Saviors name
Times when I’ve felt all alone
As the… darkest of blue
Filled this heart of mine
Praying for the pain to ease…
For the sun to maybe shine through
Some days are easier than others
For I’ve traveled this path many times in my life
From the child… I once was long ago
Now… as the mother and wife
When I get lost… in that lonely mist
As the fog… draws upon my hopelessness
When I cannot find my way
He restores my faith… and once more I find
I’m filled with a peacefulness… sublime
Yet, each time… I’ve walked this path
The journey I’ve traveled… was on my behalf
Because each time… I called His name
I became even stronger… from whence I came
