I
know they said your heart was flawed,
that your quality of life would be
frail and weak,
You'd never be able to do as others
done,
But
you held the hand of Jesus, and rose
above the meek.
In
twelve short years you packed in a
hundred years of life,
and
gave a new meaning to the feeling of
love,
You
flew higher than any ever had,
and
you done it all on the wings of a
dove.
It's been quite sometime now since you
went home,
but
there's not a day that we can't recall
your smile,
The
sparkle in your eye, the lessons you
taught us all,
with your wisdom, your grace, and your
winning style.
It
became quite clear you'd not be held
down,
between you and Jesus, you had it all,
Just like that day you stood at bat,
and
hit that little league ball.
Some wiped tears while others held
their breath,
as
you circled your field of dreams,
But
for the last few steps there were
angels by your side,
and
your best friend Jesus, was coaching
the team.
Angel, while you rest peacefully in
His protecting arms,
we
are so grateful you are finally
painless and whole,
We
cherish each moment that we had you in
our lives,
for
before you left our hearts you stole.
