"JASON"

"JESUS SAID I COULD"

"Jesus Said I Could"

Red, White and Blue balloons made up the arch,

that over shadowed your place of final rest,

Such a fitting gesture, for you Jason, were our hero,

to us my Grandson, you were the very best.

I know they said your heart was flawed,

that your quality of life would be frail and weak,

You'd never be able to do as others done,

But you held the hand of Jesus, and rose above the meek.

In twelve short years you packed in a hundred years of life,

and gave a new meaning to the feeling of love,

You flew higher than any ever had,

and you done it all on the wings of a dove.

It's been quite sometime now since you went home,

but there's not a day that we can't recall your smile,

The sparkle in your eye, the lessons you taught us all,

with your wisdom, your grace, and your winning style.

It became quite clear you'd not be held down,

between you and Jesus, you had it all,

Just like that day you stood at bat,

and hit that little league ball.

Some wiped tears while others held their breath,

as you circled your field of dreams,

But for the last few steps there were angels by your side,

and your best friend Jesus, was coaching the team.

Angel, while you rest peacefully in His protecting arms,

we are so grateful you are finally painless and whole,

We cherish each moment that we had you in our lives,

for before you left our hearts you stole.

THANK YOU LISA FOR THIS BEAUTIFUL POEM IN MEMORY OF

OUR ANGEL, GOD LOANED US FOR A WHILE.       TEXAS BOB

PLEASE READ THE STORY BELOW

Our loving Grandson JASON, was born with a malformed heart. He was credited as making medical history. (having been the first person ever detected with the particular problem). His heart had no partition in the bottom half section. (There have been others discovered since he was discovered, but he was the first, according to the specialists around the US)

We were told, he could never run and play with the other children, ride a bicycle, never play ball, never swim, never ride in an airplane. (Not allowed above ground level), and many other things. Well, he was like Grandpa, more stubborn than most things, so the little whipper snapper did everything the doctors said he could never do. When confronted as to why he did it, he simply replied, "JESUS SAID I COULD" For the air flight, I was able to get special permission for our piolit to fly no more than 250 feet above ground, from Las Vegas Nevada, down into Arizona, around a beautiful lake, and return. That was what allowed him to fly. Jesus was definately with Jason all his life with us!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME!
