My goodness,..Thanksgiving just around the corner and they are trying to sell ''Christmas!''
What happened to those ''Sacred Holidays!''

Speaking of ''Goodness,''...Go ''Grab that Cup O' Joe'',...hot chocolate or that favorite libation,...Throw a
''log'' in the fireplace if you have one and pull up a 'rug' let's sit a spell and think a bit about ''Thanksgiving''
and the Blessings that come with it!...

First!...''Sale's!''...'Buy this,..Buy that', ...''Black Friday Specials''....What in ''Hootin-nanny'' is going on here?!..

Thanksgiving is,..or ''Was'' supposed to be a ''Day to Give Thanks'' for All the Blessing's We have Received
from the Lord!

I know,...I Know!...The 'economy's' bad,..We have bills,..were low this month....My goodness,..it's that way
everywhere!...Didn't Jesus say,..'' I have No Home to call My own!''..and yet He was grateful for what He had!..

Today,..as we speak,..a Soldier is giving up his ''Today'' so that You might have Your Tomorrow...
And as I think about those whom at this very second are ''Dying'' on the Battlefield in ''Freedom's Name''
What is that cost?..It is Their Life,..the one they were living,..and the One they would have Lived!...

Psalm- 46:10..''Be Silent!,..Know that I am GOD''...

No more,..no less,...What is GOD saying?...

Is He ''Scolding'' us as a Father would scold a child,...saying ''Quiet!,..I am your father,..Stop complaining!..
Kinda seems that way huh!...

Well,..I kind of read it like this,..''You are ''Alive''...have a place to rest Your head,..and a meal,...why are you Not
satisfied!...

By His own example,..Jesus did Not have a place to call home,..but He had a place to lay His head,..He had
No place to store food,..but He ate.,..He had no furniture but He had ''Comfort'' in The Father's Word...
Should We,..even in these ''Hard Modern Times''...You know,..cars..cell-phones,..computers,..television,..take
Comfort in The ''Lord's Word'' and be happy for what We have,.as little as it is?...Just a thought!...

Psalm-42:5..'' Why are you cast down O my soul?...Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him for the help of His
countenance.''

I'm not going to ''Jaw'' about this or that,.But!..Why can We not find ''Comfort'' in knowing of What We have waiting
for us in heaven, and accept the little 'dis-comforts' that come along in our ''Walk of Faith..''..Some people who
say they are believers just cannot accept that We receive good and bad in life,..and they become ''victims'' of
themselves by becoming ''Speed-Bumps'' in the road of life!.

Remember..''Thanksgiving'' is what it say's...Giving Thank's..not Giving ''Excuses'' why Not to be Thankful..

I'll stop now,..just let me say again,..''Give the keys to Jesus,..let Him drive!''...

''Be Thankful,..Joy comes from the Lord who lives in us, not from what's happening around us!''
