Combat or not,..We were ''Torn Away'' from Our Homes,..''Re-Programed'' with

Certain Skills,..We formed ''Very Tight Bonds'' of which were Again Broken

after Our Service was up,..Many of Us ''Lived and Died'' Together one day,..

and then the next,..Were Home...''Be Normal'',..It was as if ''It Never Happened!''

 

How Do You just 'Stop Thinking' about someone who died in Your Arms a week

ago,.or the Guy Who Saved Your Life,.or You Him!..

 

Now,..If You tell the Military about these things,..Chances are that they ''Won't''

let You Out right away,.You were Gone for a Year,.You just Want to ''Go Home!''

 

I'm O.K. You say,..But Your Spouse or Parents and Siblings ''Don't Know You''

or You them.''Ouch!''..But You can call ''Bubba'' up and be ''Normal''..He knows

We must ''Sooth the Beast'' in Our Own Self,..''Ye of Little Faith'' Jesus said

as He ''Calmed the Storm''..

 

Drinking..Medication only ''Mask's'' the symptom..''Inner Peace'' is what We must

find,..Talking to each other who have been there,..Talking to God ..Yourself thru

Prayer or a ''Minister'' will surely help..

 

Our Families too ''Become Casualties of War'' as they Live Our Nightmare's!

 

Suicide!..Too many take that way out,.only to Leave What they tried to ''Escape

From''...More Death and Devastation in their wake!..

 

Reach Out to Another ''Warrior'' in Harms Way,..Reach Out to God,..I Promise

He'll help if You Pray on it...

We'll,.. ''Fourth of July'' is a coming...I'll light those ''little snakes'' ..forget the ''roman candles!'', and
