REQUESTING HELP FOR WILBUR
I am a grandmother…of a
precious, pink, miniature,
potbellied pig who weighs in
at 60 pounds. His name is
Wilbur Sardo; he lives in
Spring, Texas in a subdivision
called The Thicket.
Wilbur needs your support in
the worst way. As in all
neighborhoods, there is
usually someone with too much
time on their hands. Thus,
they stir the pot when it
doesn’t need stirring! For
no reason at all, Wilbur has
been reported to the Home
Owners Association…they want
him ripped away from a loving
family with two children. How
do you explain to children
that strangers can make you
give up your pet?
The deed restrictions of The
Thicket are rather convoluted,
but they do not exclude mini
potbellied pigs. By
definition these pigs were
raised specifically for
medical research (ouch) and as
pets.
Wilbur has had media exposure
on local television in a
number of states, and radio
spots as well. Finally, Greta
Vansusteran of Fox News has
the story of his plight on
Gretawire. The more people
that vote and leave comments,
the better Wilbur’s chances
are of staying in his loving
home. This link will take you
to Gretawire:

Who knows, if Greta gets
enough “action” on Wilbur, he
may be invited to be on her
show! How will the HOA combat
that?
Or, you may visit Wilbur’s
site at:

Signing this petition is safe
and they do not give out any
personal information.
Change.org. is the same site
used for the Caley Anthony Law
petition.
Wilbur has his own Face Book
page as well, with nearly
4,000 friends from countries
all over the world. If you’d
like to send him a friend’s
request:

There are numerous videos of
this cute guy on Utube…you
might want to check them out.
Just type in Wilbur Sardo.
You may also Google his
name…there are several pages
that will give you information
on this situation and guide
you to different Utube videos.
Pigs are as smart, if not
smarter, than dogs. Wilbur
sits like a dog for treats,
has learned to bark like their
dog, washes his snout in a
small tub of water before
entering the house…he is
harmless to anyone.
I’m sure in that subdivision
there are a few dogs, that if
they dug out or escaped their
backyard, could viciously harm
a child. It happens all the
time all over the country.
This is not a problem with a
mini potbellied pig. All they
want is love and a carrot or
two...and grapes are really
yummy!
Not only will this family be
devastated if they are forced
to give up Wilbur, it’s known
that often these little pigs
become so bonded with family;
they simply grieve themselves
to death.
Thank you, Bob, for your
willingness to help in this
very sad situation. I know
your subscribers will find it
in their fine Christian hearts
to help one of God’s creatures
remain in his loving home.
